With Twelfth Night behind us, Carnival season is officially underway, which means king cakes are here and parades aren’t far behind. The 2018 Carnival season includes several anniversaries.
The krewe of Bacchus is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and the parade and ball will be broadcast on WWL-TV February 11. The always-irreverent Krewe of Tucks is also turning 50 this year, while Orpheus, founded by Harry Connick Jr., turns 25.
