The history of Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans (CCANO) can be traced to Ursuline nuns arriving in New Orleans in 1727 to serve the needy and vulnerable. That mission has never wavered since.
During this season of giving, CCANO reaches out to the community to help children and families in need. Otherwise, many would not have gifts or hot meals during the holidays.
Find out how you can be the angel for them and participate in holiday food and gift drives. In bringing people together, CCANO seeks to create a community where everyone can live with dignity and hope.
