As COVID-19 continues to take lives, it’s important to also recognize the negative toll the pandemic has taken on mental health. Mental health counselors from the University of Holy Cross produced a television series, entitled “Coping During the COVID Crisis.”
Each 30-minute episode examines specific topics, such as coping with loneliness and economic hardship. Co-hosts counselor Dr. Roy Salgado and New Orleans journalist Jan Cross interview various University of Holy Cross counseling experts.
The show partners with another University of Holy Cross initiative: free mental health tele-counseling available Mondays-Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. via phone at (504) 398-2168.
