In July, JEDCO joined Jefferson Parish and key partners to break ground on the first model home built through the Terrytown Neighborhood Revitalization Strategic Plan. Five months later, JEDCO was back at the construction site to cut the ribbon on the new house, a 1,500 square foot mid-century modern home that showcases what is possible in our community. An offer has already been placed on the home!
Developed in late 2019, the program was born out of a larger strategic plan to upgrade and enhance Jefferson Parish’s housing stock. You can learn more about the Model Home Pilot Program here.
