by The 100 Companies

The Jefferson Ready Start Network is advancing its bold vision to ensure all children birth to age five in Jefferson Parish have access to early childhood experiences that will prepare them to succeed.

Research shows that a child’s brain is 90 percent developed by age five, making quality early experiences crucial. With funding support from Jefferson Parish Schools, the Jefferson Parish Council and other community organizations, Jefferson Ready Start is generating local investments and creating a culture of high-quality, comprehensive early childhood services to support the parish’s youngest learners.
