Your fight is my fight

Black Lives Matter

People have turned to art for centuries to express the human experience and in particular to express emotions and comment on social injustice.

I realize that sometimes it can seem scary to share opinions on controversial topics and it is easier to share someone else’s words in those instances. Through art, we are able to elevate our collective voice in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.

This is just one way to help. Some additional ways to become a better ally include educating yourself (don’t ask others to educate you), supporting black businesses and nonprofits and following black activists.
