The RTA, in collaboration with Chinese tech company Ehang, has completed the first test flight of the Ehang 184, Autonomous Aerial Vehicle (AAV).
There’s a touchscreen on which passengers can select their intended destination, after which the vehicle will start the automatic operation and whisk you away. A ground-based center will monitor each journey, which can last a maximum of 30 minutes. This may take nerves of steel first time round.
