HI USA provides cultural opportunities for NOLA students

Hostelling International USA (HI USA) has a mission to create a more tolerant world.

HI USA will award several $2,000 travel scholarships to underserved New Orleanians, ages 18-30, to support educational or service learning journeys abroad.

Online applications open in January for 2019 travel plans. HI USA is a national network of hostels and an educational nonprofit with the purpose to create a more tolerant world.

HI USA is renovating two historic buildings at 1028-1036 Canal Street for the future home of the HI New Orleans Hostel, opening in February 2019.
