For the second year, Jefferson Financial Federal Credit Union handed out medals to racers as they crossed the Jazz Half Marathon finish line.
Business development representative Kristi Maupin said, “This event is a truly rewarding experience for our employees. Seeing runners’ faces as they finish the race after months of training is so inspirational to our volunteers. Several are already talking about running the half next year.”
The 11th annual Jazz Half Marathon raised $234,800 to benefit Children’s Hospital New Orleans, one of Jefferson Financial’s newest community partners. As an organization, Jefferson Financial gives back to current and future members.
