BUKU Music + Art Project appeals to all of the senses. Big names like Lana Del Rey and Louis the Child may be the hook to get you through the gates, but take a look around you to get a real feel for the event. What to appreciate:
• Smaller stages like Switchyard for intimate performances from up-and-comers like Doja Cat and Kasbo.
• Engaging light installations throughout the festival.
• Live graffiti artwork – watch as sets transform into artwork before your eyes throughout the weekend.
• Festival fashion.
• Interactive pop-ups – breakdancers, belly dancers, DJs on tricycles – are they performers or attendees?
