Set a budget and stick to it by completing some simple DIY tasks around the house.

Replace your car’s air filter – Research what filter you need and pop your car’s hood. Remove the old filter, replace it with the new one and close the box.

Clean your gutters – Grab a ladder and remove mud, leaves and debris with your hands. Clean out remaining materials with a hose.

Unclog your sink – Forego the plumber and clean out the trap under the sink. If that doesn’t work, use a plumber’s snake or a liquid aid like Liquid-Plumr
