This summer, millions of Americans will be traveling for vacation, but it will be much different because of COVID-19. Typically, AAA forecasts 89 percent of vacationers will travel by car, but this year that number is likely to be closer to 98 percent.

As you plan your summer trip, which might even include a “staycation” here at home, AAA recommends you check travel restrictions and book your lodging and attraction tickets in advance. Don’t forget to pack cleaning products and bring food and drink with you if possible.
