Paula Polito, Ph.D., never thought she would run the early care and education (ECE) center started by her grandmother over 50 years ago. Now, she does more than run one of the highest quality centers in the region; she advocates for ECE statewide.
Paula first realized the impact she could make working hands-on at Beary Cherry Tree. As a member of the Jefferson Ready Start Advisory Board and chair of the Louisiana Department of Education Early Childhood Advisory Board, she brings her talents to help spread awareness of the importance of the “birth to five” period in child development.
