Pedicab races, food trucks and Big Freedia

by

Known for its innovative approaches to supporting New Orleans youth through mentoring, education, employment readiness and enrichment programming, the Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) continues to make a name for itself in the community. The inaugural YEP Fest will support the project’s 11 programs benefiting underserved youth in the community.

The event will include entertainment from Big Freedia, Sweet Crude, Water Seed and other local performers. There will be plenty of food and drink provided by area food trucks and vendors! One of the highlights of the festival will be Pedal for YEP, a series of (competitive) corporate-sponsored pedicab races!
