THNOC Hosts Screening of ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’ with Live Accompaniment

THNOC’s annual Les Comediens Français Lecture celebrates the lasting French influence in New Orleans culture.

This year’s program, set for Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 6PM, will feature a screening of the 1923 classic silent film “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” with live accompaniment by internationally acclaimed pianist Karol Mossakowski, who is well known for his improvised silent movie scores.

Advance reservations are required, and admission is $15. THNOC members are eligible for reduced rates. The event will take place at THNOC’s Williams Research Center at 410 Chartres St. Call (504) 523-4662 or email wrc@hnoc.org for details.
