During 2023 Manufacturing Week, JEDCO will team up with Jefferson Parish Schools to highlight the innovative efforts underway to support the community’s workforce pipeline. Local economic development and education leaders will emphasize the power and potential of tailored curricula designed to prepare students for careers in skilled advanced manufacturing trades.
Later this week, selected 11th graders will tour four Jefferson Parish manufacturing facilities across the parish. The hands-on experience will connect students to high-paying, high-impact career pathways in our community. These specialized activities will help shape the future of our workforce and enhance the overall economic landscape in Jefferson Parish.
