The New Orleans BioInnovation Center announced the relaunch of the BioChallenge pitch competition, taking place Oct. 31. The competition seeks innovative ideas and technologies in health security solutions, particularly those addressing CBRN incidents, pandemic influenza and emerging infectious diseases.
As part of the BARDA Accelerator Network, NOBIC aims to ignite biotech innovation and enhance equitable preparedness and response. The competition offers a prize pool over $100,000 and is preceded by BIO on the BAYOU, an academic biotechnology research symposium.
NOBIC’s mission is to advance life science entrepreneurship and technology commercialization, providing support and services to emerging companies in the biotech ecosystem.
