Jefferson Community Foundation is accepting nominations for the “Jefferson First” Philanthropy Award. The award recognizes an individual making a significant contribution to Jefferson Parish through their philanthropic giving, time, actions, talents and dedication.
Last year’s inaugural winner, Wm. Henry Shane Jr., set the standard for service in Jefferson Parish. It is time to recognize more leaders who demonstrate compassion and service, for no benefit but the betterment of our parish. Nominees should be submitted by Oct. 20. The recipient will be announced at the JCF Gala Celebration, presented by The Feil Family Foundation Friday, Nov. 3 – honoring 15 years of JCF.
